## Caption

Today marks the 40th birthday of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.

Married to Prince William, their Royal Highnesses have three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis and name Kensington Palace as their official residence. 

Alongside undertaking royal duties in support of The Queen in both the UK and overseas, The Duchess dedicates a large portion of her time to supporting several charities, most focused around giving children a better start in life. 

To note the 40th celebrations, three new portraits of HRH have been released and will enter the permanent collection at the National Portrait Gallery in London, of which Catherine is Patron.
