An unidentified demonstrator during a protest at Columbia University, New York, is captured by master of photography @schapirophoto in 1968. ⁠
The protest was one of a series that occurred when it was discovered that the university was supporting the US war in Vietnam, as well as being in the planning stages of building a new, segregated gymnasium on the NYC campus. Students took control of many of the University's buildings and were later violently removed by the NYPD.⁠
