Born 85 years ago today, Elvis Presley touches tongues with companion Bobbi Owens, backstage at the Mosque Theatre in Virginia, 1956.⁠
Later known as Barbara Gray, Elvis’ date only claimed her place in the famous photograph a few years ago. In an interview with Vanity Fair, Gray recounts first seeing him and thinking “God, he’s beautiful.” ⁠
