Today marks 50 years since the Stonewall Riots, the event often cited as the beginning of the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement.⁠
The early morning hours of 28th June 1969 are today examined by gettyarchive, hours that have grown into a month-long commemoration of Pride.⁠
