“When the Cannes Film Festival approaches, I'm filled with a nostalgic happiness with a bit of apprehension. After 18 editions covered, I know that is going to be tough! Shooting in Cannes is like running a marathon, you never know when you will reach the wall! Very long days, short nights and huge expectations to deliver high quality imagery, make those two weeks of Cannes stressful. The amount of work could be compared with summer Olympics which I have done three times but the difference is, Olympics only happen every four years...Angelina Jolie was waiting at the entrance of the carpet while Brad walked the carpet with the cast of his movie. As soon as he finished his duty he walked back the stairs to his wife to walk and pose with her on the red carpet. I quite like this image of one of the most glamorous couples in the world, (at that time) taken during the premiere of "The Tree of life" film in 2011. The movement in it, the two flashes lighting the floor, the palm trees and the photographers in the background make this simple image one of my favorite Cannes pix.” - plsphotogetty | May 16, 2011 | #GettyEntertainment [1 of 3]
