Canadian #photojournalist Kevin Frayer, based in Asia, travelled to the northwest mountains of Qinghe County, Xinjiang, northwestern China to capture the Kazakh people who use #eagles to hunt. “The amazing thing about this experience was seeing how they manage to maintain this tradition of eagle #hunting in a country modernizing around them. It’s not that they’re trying to avoid this reality. Rather, it's practiced in an effort to promote and preserve #culture for future generations."
