(Sound on!) Been working on this with jperl for over a month and we're excited to finally share it! 

I'm really enjoying this visual effect of combining a very old technique (stop motion) with a very new one (AI interpolation).  

I'll share more behind-the-scenes over the next few days. See my caption on Jan 27 for more info on the tech we used to smooth out these shots (DAIN)

This video is the result of about a month of playing around - testing and iterating on ideas. I've spent most of January working on personal projects and it's been really nice to have that open-ended exploration without the pressure of a client deadline.

Recently I've been thinking a lot about consistency and how often I post. Content creators all face a constant pressure of posting frequently to please the algorithm. Have you heard the advice to post everyday?? 🤨 Uhhh I ain't got the time or energy for that! 

This year I'm gonna put less pressure on myself to post frequently. Sometimes I get tempted to make "filler" content just so I don't have too long gaps in between posting, but this year I'm gonna try to resist that temptation. Instead I want to direct my energy into noodling on ideas for longer, getting to experiment more, and only posting what I'm excited about sharing. This will help me work at a pace that feels more comfortable and sustainable 😌
