#ThisIsGrassroots: “I put on for my city, wherever I go I want people to know where I’m from. The southside of Atlanta is where I call home, Oakland City, right next to where the Dome was. Growing up, there was a lot of yellow police tape around and I feel like people write off my neighborhood and even me because of it. I feel underrated, disrespected even at times. It just makes me go harder though. I’m here to rise. I’m a scorer. I love putting the ball in the basket. I love getting the blocks, the steals, the breakaway dunks that makes the crowd scream.
