Happy Earth Day, Bison Family!  Did you know that we won a $40,000 grant from Home Depot’s retoolyourschool campaign? Thanks for voting! 

This will transform an underutilized patio area between Academic A & B into a vibrant, green space perfect for relaxation and creativity. Imagine studying outside, surrounded by vertical flower beds and soft lantern lights. 

Let’s make every day Earth Day! Here are a few ways that our Howard Community can make the Earth a better place! 

🌎Reduce, Reuse, Recycle - Make a habit of reducing your waste by avoiding single-use plastics, reusing items whenever possible, and recycling properly.

🌎Conserve Energy - Turn off lights, computers, and other electronics when not in use.

🌎 Support Sustainable Practices - Choose to buy products from companies that are environmentally responsible. This includes buying locally produced food, which cuts down on transportation emissions, and choosing items with minimal packaging.
