"Michael and I met February 2015, and got married in Rankin Memorial Chapel on July 23, 2016. He friended me on Facebook, and I accepted the request after seeing the Howard University emblem on his page. We were both at Howard simultaneously, but had never met. Our commonalities – working with youth and we are writers.
