Netflix has landed the television series #Calabasas, TheWrap has learned. The series, which is executive produced by #KimKardashian and her #AmericanHorrorStory costar #EmmaRoberts, is based on Via Bleidner’s book “If You Lived Here You’d Be Famous By Now” and is set in the SoCal town most closely associated with the Kardashians.

Two major offers were on the table when Netflix closed out the deal on Friday, according to sources close to the story. The book follows the story of 16-year-old Via, a young Catholic girl whose life is changed after her family moves from the Midwest to Calabasas, California.
