Had the chance to visit the Atalaya Castle in Georgetown, SC.🌴🏰

If you are ever in the area, you should definitely go and check it out!👀

You can find the castle inside Huntington Beach State Park near the Atlantic coast in Murrells Inlet, Georgetown County. It’s $8 to enter the park and $2 to explore the castle. 

Atalaya Castle was built by the industrialist and philanthropist of Archer M. Huntington and his wife, the sculptor Anna Hyatt Huntington. It was used as the couples winter home then later on provided the Army Air Corps for use from 1942 to 1946.
