This team just wrapped an incredible week in Cancun with 1,100 of our sales and ops teammates for MMPC 2022 (Movement Mortgage President’s Club), and, man, am I feeling grateful.

Three years ago, not long after we hired Kelsey Seagle (more on her later 😉) as our only gear and events person on staff, and coming off attending her first MMPC, she looked at me and said “I got this.” We had been working with an event planner to that point, but Kelsey was convinced she could run it.

The next year she did just that. And killed it. But that was 700 attendees ago…

Look, I know there are bigger events in the world, but I cannot stress how proud I am of this internal mortgage marketing team for pulling off a party of this magnitude. Whole resort booked out: ✅. Four nights of massive parties: ✅. Cohesive branding everywhere: ✅. A content team that crushed social, video, photo, interviews, and multiple day-of recap videos on the fly: ✅. Exceed expectations on an event 2+ years in the making: ✅✅✅✅✅.

I posted a longer thank you note over on my Facebook page (TL;DR: thanks caseyscrawford, michael_brennan528, hiltoncancun, elisabethrose, helmsbriscoe, vinnysplit, harlemglobetrotters, Meghan Musalo, scott.wooten, our on-site vendors and everyone pictured here) but with the remaining characters I have left, I wanted to call out two people specifically.

To kelhudson__ and sav_hovis3: what is there to say? And you know I’m tearing up typing this. 😭😭😭 Watching you both grow as leaders at movementmtg has been one of the true joys of my career. Kelsey, I want to be you when I grow up. There is not a human on earth that is nicer, more welcoming and has a better understanding of customer service than you. All of which rubs off on your team. Seeing you lead a team of 40+ vendors, staff, etc. was incredible. Savannah, overnight you went from first-time manager to leading the largest team in the marketing department. Our social media and photo/video content game is what it is because of you and your team. 

To the #MMPC2022 team, THANK YOU. I’ll never forget this one. ☺️
