## Caption

After taking a while to reflect & evaluate on what was a disappointing loss, I’ve been trying to focus on the positives that came from this game. There is a lot of work to be done, but the season is FAR from over! 

Here’s some of our notes from Week 1 📝 

-Cam Dantzler starts, takes majority of reps at CB. Showed promising aggression, needs to finish open field tackles. Was in the right place a few times, just needs to make a play on the ball. 

-Jaleel Johnson was a pleasant surprise and played hard all game. 

-Rough open field tackling at times

-Bradbury looks stronger/more adjusted to speed of the game

-Defense with a few good goal line stands early.... other than that could not throw 12 off of his rhythm. 

-ZERO pressure from the Defensive Front. 

-Was confused as to why our CB’s man coverage was so soft most of the game (10 yds off) (easy 10 yd outs)

-Questionable play calling at times. (Play Action from our own 1 yd line) (Fade to Tajae Sharpe on 4th & 3)

-Cousins was good with his feet/moving the pocket

-Love the HB misdirection call on 2pt Conversion

-Eric Kendricks is ELITE (Flying to the ball, Not missing tackles)

-Jefferson impressive slant route/YAC from the slot

-Holton Hill with a tough game other than 4th & Goal PBU (Great Play)

-OL struggles during passing downs, O’Neill, Elflein

-Mata’afa has a problem jumping offsides. I get his excitement on passing downs, but DL needs to sit in there especially against a great hard count QB like Rodgers.

-Anthony Harris could’ve been better all around

-Alexander Mattison is a stud

-Impossible to win while getting dominated so badly in Time of Possession

Hopefully the guys come out with a chip on their shoulder and go get a big win in Indy!
