Did you know that there was a Women’s Army Corps (WAC) detachment stationed at Camp Hale? On May 12, 1943, 200+ women arrived to Camp Hale to aid in finance, communications, nursing, the motor pool, and supplies. These women enlisted out of patriotism and for independence and adventure.
