Even the most successful athletes—need a plan for life after competing!  That said, we welcome to our starting lineup: Mr. Kenny Peterson who will discuss how his tenacity as a champion on the field, has transitioned him into being a successful serial entrepreneur who continues his winning streak.  Mr. Peterson will be a speaker at Game Changers Leadership and Peer Mentoring Initiative Summit & Combine on May 18th, at Youngstown State University
Kenny Peterson is a Canton, Ohio native and graduate of McKinley Senior High School. He achieved All-City selection as a basketball player and All-American honors after assisting his team in winning the Division 1 State Football Title in 1997.  Peterson earned his degree from The Ohio State University and was also honored with second team All Big Ten Conference after OSU upset Miami and won the BCS National Championship Game.  Drafted in the third round of the 2003 NFL Draft, Peterson spent three seasons with the Green Bay Packers and concluded his football career in 2010 with the Denver Broncos. Kenny’s competitiveness and drive on the field laid the foundation for his business mindset and game plan to achieve success as an entrepreneur today.

Now retired, Kenny is focusing his efforts on conceptualizing and developing businesses with innovative products and services.  Currently, Kenny is Owner of KP Medical, KP Sourcing, and a Multi-Unit Franchise Owner with Nothing Bundt Cakes  and ANY LAB TEST NOW.  Kenny is a member of the Board of Directors and Board of Executives with the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Trustees at the Greater STARK County UL, the Board of Directors with the J. Babe Stearn Community Center, Chairman of Labor Affairs with the NAACP Stark County, OH  and Co-Founder at Men of Canton Foundation.  Kenny has a diverse portfolio and a unique skill set. No matter what industry Kenny is working in, his number one passion and priority is making a positive difference in the lives of others.
