Malardalen is a huge research University and perfect for students in Computer Science, Math, and Engineering. The campus works with companies that come to them with real-life issues and classes are made around the issues. The classes are similar to UMBC and focused on collaboration.⠀

The Idelab is a unit dedicated to student and faculty ideas. Students can come to the Idelab with an idea for a company/startup and a faculty member will partner with them to make the idea into a reality.⠀🧰🔗

Malardalen has an equivalent of a welcome week where students and international students come together and learn about the amenities on campus and the offices there for support. The Student Union has a board deals directly with international students. 📇 👥 There are even student fridges and microwaves so that students can bring their food in from home and heat it up/ eat while on campus for the day. 🍲
