Join us as we celebrate another year of Irish Film! 

The Newport Beach Film Festival's Irish Spotlight this year will be highlighting three incredible features:

Ireland's submission to the Academy Awards, THE QUIET GIRL tells the story of a quiet, neglected girl who is sent away from her dysfunctional family to live with relatives for the summer. She blossoms in their care, but in this house where there are meant to be no secrets, she discovers one. thequietgirlfilm
Screening Sunday, October 16th at 6:00pm. 

Perhaps the greatest actor Ireland has produced, THE GHOST OF RICHARD HARRIS tells the story of the once famous Hollywood star and notorious hellraiser Richard Harris who still lives in the hearts of his countrymen and his three sons who have thought about him every day, since his unexpected death 20 years ago. They are still in search of, and argue about, who he really was—a complex and flawed genius.
Screening Sunday, October 16th at 6:15pm. 

JOYRIDE tells the story of twelve-year-old Mully who has lost his mother and discovers his debt-ridden father stealing the charity money they’ve raised in her name. Grabbing the cash, Mully flees the scene, steals a taxi and is shocked to find a woman passed out in the back seat with a baby. This mismatched pair, a compassionate but troubled adolescent and a complicated, no-nonsense solicitor, set off on a road trip where they ultimately find deep friendship and a happier way to journey through life.
Screening Sunday, October 16th at 6:30pm. 

After each screening, guests will join in for food, drinks, and entertainment at Muldoon's Pub from 8:30pm - 11:00pm.
