Thursday is #WorldMalariaDay.

Malaria, though preventable and treatable, continues to have devastating impacts worldwide, and children are among the most vulnerable. With improved prevention, detection and treatment services, many lives could be saved.

If you are in affected areas, make sure to protect yourself from mosquito bites by wearing light-coloured clothing, using insect repellent, getting rid of stagnant water and sleeping under a bed net.
