Join us on April 2, Pioneer Works will present “Brand New Heavies”, an exhibition curated by Racquel Chevremont racquelchevremont and me-collectively known as Deux Femmes Noires deuxfemmesnoires. The exhibition will bring together monumental work by Abigail Deville victoriouspurple, Xaviera Simmons xavierasimmons, and Rosa-Johan Uddoh rosa_johan.
 
Each artist will produce a new, site-speciofic installation that combines video, sculpture, and architecture that comprises natural, industrial, and found materials. Deux Femmes Noires we knew these artists would embrace the opportunity Pioneer Works offers as a community-engaged, artist-focused institution with a distinct physical space.
