Violent arrests today at Emory University during protests calling for a ceasefire in Gaza. The arrests and detainments included this one captured by our CNN crew. It shows a man who is already restrained by state police who does not appear to be resisting arrest being repeatedly tased by Georgia State troopers.
Today, we saw what appeared to be the most excessive use of force on demonstrators so far on college campuses this year who are calling for an end to what they say is a genocide against Palestinians.
Please be advised this video is graphic and difficult to watch. You can hear the taser deployed multiple times and people in the background screaming to stop.
