The past four years I’ve lived in fear...
•
Nobody knows it, you can’t see it and I don’t show it but it’s there.
•
It haunts my every move, my every decision, my every thought and even thoughts of others.
I’m not happy about it. it’s tough to admit it. it’s embarrassing. It’s disappointing. •
I’m not going to go into details because in all honesty it’s nobody’s business. But I made a terrible decision that costed me one of the things that I value most. I was vulnerable. I trusted people that I shouldn’t. I made one bad decision after another. By the time I realized it, the damage had already been done. Now it haunts... EVERYTHING.
•
Why am I telling you this? •
Because after it happened, I felt dirty. I felt ashamed. I felt ugly. I felt used. I felt scared. I felt alone. I felt violated. I felt weak. I felt... FEAR.
•
This year was to make sure that I didn’t feel like that anymore. Hell, no one should.
So I decided to take a risk...
•
I called up a local photographer, thatfyffelyfe of birdiefyffephotography, and did a boudoir shoot- for those who don’t know it’s a lingerie photo shoot.
Was I nervous? Oh Hell ya! 
I needed to be vulnerable and that wasn’t an option for me.
•
But I needed to change the way I viewed myself. I was pretty. I was strong. Hell, I was sexy (I am still not but for this shoot I tried. You gotta give me that! 😂).
•
Easily the best decision I have ever made.
•
Here’s to turning 26- getting rid of fear, being vulnerable and building healthy relationships!
