Part 1: When I started shooting portraits, I made the newbie photographer mistake by not learning how to do headshots, oops!

Headshots may seem simple but not as simple as one might think. Sure, asking a model to sit and smile towards the camera is easy. However, it doesn’t make for an appealing photograph. You guys know, the “awkward yearbook photo”?
