District Attorney Pamela Price is set to revisit death penalty cases from more than 30 years ago to investigate allegations of Alameda County prosecutors excluding Black and Jewish people from death penalty juries, as first reported by Oaklandside. 

U.S. District Court Judge Vince Chhabria issued the decision after a deputy district attorney uncovered notes taken by prosecutors in Ernest Dykes’ case, supporting evidence of racial exclusion.
