🚨TIP FOR ALL ATHLETES🚨⁣⁣

So, my team and I had a zoom call the other day with a premier athlete in which we were discussing a few ins and outs of social media marketing and how an athlete in today’s day can utilize their social media platforms for their benefit. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
One thing that was discussed throughout the call, and that our team constantly tries to hit home to our clients is the importance of 1.) Consistency & 2.) Diversity in regards to what you are showing the world. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Just like anything else in life, if you desire to grow, you have to be consistent. Social media is no different. This doesn’t mean you have to post every single day, but it does mean you have to have a continual pattern of making deposits with your followers & the algorithm if you want to maximize your influence. A general rule of thumb I recommend is getting something up every 10 days. That’s VERY doable and should be the bare minimum if you want to see deals come through the door and grow out your own brand. Pretty simple.⁣
⁣⁣
&, it’s not just about how often you post, but also what you’re posting. Go and look at your teammates’ pages. I’d be willing to bet that over 90% of your teammates’ posts are of them either at practice, or in a game/competition. While fine for most, if you want to be someone that can one day be the face of a brand or a spokesperson for an event, you have to show way more of yourself than just that you’re an athlete. ESPECIALLY if you’re a football player considering nobody can even see your face when you’re playing. If you like fashion, show off some fits. If you play an instrument, make a reel of you playing your favorite song. The more you can show the world your personality and who you are outside of your field of play, the more likely you are to standout from the crowd, and see the off field success that you’re looking for. ⁣
