We’re always on the hunt for passionate and diverse talent. This summer we have found just that in our 2021 summer interns. To welcome them to the firm, we’ll be sharing their unique Q&A’s all summer long.⁣⁣⁣⁣

Q1: We’ve been indoors for over a year, what did you learn, or what skill did you acquire to better yourself professionally? ⁣⁣⁣⁣

A1: Ironically, after the majority of my communications have occurred virtually, I actually became a better public speaker and presenter when in front of groups of more than one person. I also used much of my extra time indoors to learn and practice new programming languages such as R, Python, and SQL! ⁣⁣⁣⁣
 ⁣⁣⁣⁣
Q2: Lunch is at 1pm, and it’s 12:45pm. Your meeting ended 15 minutes earlier than expected, how are you spending those extra minutes? ⁣⁣⁣⁣

A2: If I didn’t have any work items to attend to before my lunch break, I would either throw on a business or science podcast to get me through those 15 minutes or get some fresh air by taking a walk outside.⁣⁣⁣⁣

Q3: First week in the books! How would you describe the vibe at Invesco in three words? ⁣⁣⁣⁣

A4: After work, I like to rid myself of all the built-up energy I have from sitting at my desk and go to the gym to workout for about an hour.⁣⁣⁣⁣

Q5: What is one habit you have that people find strange or interesting? ⁣⁣⁣⁣

A5: A weird habit I’m known for by my friends and family is that I can fall asleep almost anywhere and in any environment; it doesn’t matter how loud or bright the area is.⁣⁣⁣⁣
