Today is a special #GMEVirtualStage because we are spotlighting our director Dr. Michael Nickens aka docnix ! 😊

Our Green Machine Ensembles are truly lucky to have someone like Doc conduct us through music and guide us through our time at georgemasonu ! And... did you know? He still performs in many different ways! From taking the stage with nas and the National Symphony Orchestra or t.l.a.o.o. (this little abomination of ours) at wolf_trap , to composing an original unaccompanied tuba solo for jantschasaurus , to improvisation over plant bio-rhythms with the Arcadia Installment at GMU; Doc does some really cool stuff!
