A perfect crinkle top, rich and fudgy center is what makes this the ultimate cookie for brownie and chocolate lovers. These are the best Sea Salt Brownie Cookies with the perfect balance of both flavors: sweet and savory. I created them with danishcreamery European Style Sea Salted Butter. Their butter is slow-churned in small batches for a velvety texture and rich flavor. This extra time and extra care result in extra delicious flavor so in our cookies! Grab a glass of milk and enjoy!

1 stick (113 gr) #DanishCreamery Sea Salted European Style butter
2 4-ounce bars (226g) chocolate %70 cacao, coarsely chopped
3/4 cup (93g) all-purpose flour (spoon & leveled)
1/4 cup (21g) dutch-process cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup (50g) packed light brown sugar
3/4 cup (150g) granulated sugar
2 large eggs, at room temperature
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Flaky sea salt

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a medium-sized bowl, sift together the cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, and baking powder. Set aside.
In a saucepan, heat the butter over medium-low heat until melted. Remove pan from heat. Add in the chocolate and whisk until it is melted and combined.
In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment, beat the eggs, sugars, and vanilla on high speed for 5 minutes. This step is important, if you are using a hand mixer add a few more minutes. Reduce the speed to low, and mix in the melted chocolate until well-combined.
Stir in dry ingredients just until combined with a spatula. Using a 1 ½ tablespoons cookie scoop, drop the dough on the prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart. The dough should be very soft but not runny. Don’t be a perfectionist about the shapes, and be quick as possible you can (no chilling time!). Bake for 10 minutes. Allow your brownie cookies to cool a little bit before moving them on a wire rack to cool completely.
Sprinkle with sea salt and enjoy!
