The majority of radiation from the sun is absorbed by the ocean. Ocean currents act a lot like a conveyor belt, transporting warm water and precipitation from the equator toward the poles and cold water from the poles back to the tropics. This process is known as thermohaline circulation. It can take 1000 years for water to complete this global circulation!

Ocean currents regulate global climate, helping to counteract the uneven distribution of solar radiation reaching Earth’s surface. Without currents in the ocean, regional temperatures would be more extreme—super hot at the equator and frigid toward the poles—and much less of Earth’s land would be habitable.

We can say thank you to the oceans by taking steps to combat climate change. One way to do this is by conserving and rehabilitating water. Moleaer is committed to being part of the solution, using nanobubble technology.

Nanobubbles have a strong negative surface charge that prevents them from coalescing and enables them to physically separate small particles and droplets — like emulsified fats, oils, and grease — from water. This is just one of the many applications possible for nanobubble technology.
