After 90 years, why are diners and employees so passionate about Swensons? Beyond the great burgers, CEO Jeffery Flowers — who started as a curbside server — says the secret is a people-first approach not often found in fast food.  
 
“I’m an Akron guy, born and bred,” Flowers says. “I found a passion for the brand, the culture. Everything about this place just resonated with me.”

“Some of the technology has changed,” he says. “But I think a lot of the magic here is how much hasn’t changed over the years.”
