There’s a saying, “People can’t be what they can’t see”. That said, it is important to showcase women who have broken glass ceilings.
We welcome Ms. Korinth Patterson to our starting lineup!!
In the role of Associate Commissioner for Championships & Sports Programs for the Mid-American Conference(MAC), Patterson oversees the championships department, providing support to the
twelve full-member and nineteen affiliate member institutions. Working with campus administrators and coaches on regular season policies and procedures, scheduling, officiating, game management, and conference championship operations. Patterson is the liaison to the MAC Council of Senior Women Administrators, primary conference sport liaison and championship administrator for
volleyball, women’s golf, softball, and the Tournament Director for the MAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament. Prior to the MAC, Patterson served as Academic Advisor and Director of Life Skills and Special Events at Indiana University. Her duties included academic advising for numerous sports teams, overseeing the life skills programming for all student-athletes and the coordination of special events for the Academic and Student Development Services unit of the athletic department. Prior to joining the Hoosier staff, Patterson served as the Media Relations Assistant Intern at the Mid-American Conference. A native of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Patterson earned her bachelor’s degree from Ball State Universityin General Studies with a concentration in Physical Education and was a track and field student-athlete for the Cardinals. Patterson went on to receive her Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a
specialization in Sports Administration from SSt. Thomas Universityin Miami, Florida.
