Thank you cnn & vanjones68 for bringing me to Detroit to discuss the importance of civic engagement and participation in local, state & national elections... I know it's early, and the elections aren't until next year, but if we've learned anything in recent years it's that elections can be decided by the smallest of margins. Your vote definitely matters and it's important!!! It's also important to hold our elected officials accountable..If you don't vote, you don't deserve the right to complain... Also, I'm sure that some of you will resort to that old & tired narrative that no one likes when athletes & celebrities publicly endorse and/or participate in the political process. It's quite fascinating that it doesn't seem to matter though when athletes & celebrities support your candidate (Scott Baio, Clint Eastwood, Paul O'Neil & Dennis Rodman)🤔🤨... I won't tell you who to vote for (I definitely know who I'm NOT voting for), but I will tell you to vote...Also, if you write something slick or offensive on my timeline, you will be blocked and deleted (I'm really really sensitive 😉)... #participate #stayengaged #vote #votingmatters
