What I couldn’t fit into 90 seconds ⬇️:

The words of my superior went something like this: “I see the work that you are putting in. I think you are going to be very successful. Would you mind doing me a favor and picking up [child] from school and we can talk more about this?”

•NEVER heard from them again. They stopped answering my calls and responding to my texts.
•NEVER, at the very least, received gas money for a 30+ minute drive when I had less than $100 to my name (they were making multiple 6-figures).
•NEVER felt so stupid and taken advantage of. 
•NEVER HAVE I EVER been asked to perform a personal task for a superior DURING THE MIDDLE OF MY WORK DAY as an intern w/out receiving pay for my services all the while being manipulated/fearmongered into silence throughout the entire experience under the premise that they would help me get a role that I EARNED.

I’ve also never spoken publicly about this or shared w/anyone outside of family as I had my own trauma to work through…

The good news: That person is no longer employed and eventually met their fate. I’m doing well and am surrounded by people who love me and support me. God supplies all of my needs. I hold no animosity in my heart for those who have wronged me and I pray for their salvation with the same fervor as I do mine.

It also instructs us…
“Wherever they do not welcome you, as you are leaving that town shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.”
[Luke 9:5]

Be enlightened in the fact that God will seek judgement upon those who do wrong and that He can do abundantly and exceedingly above ALL that we may ever ask or think.
