Every time I think of Christmas and the Birth of Christ it takes me back to a magical moment during a trip with my wife to Israel when we were blessed to worship at night above Bethlehem. Dec 25th may not be his actual birthday, but any day is worth celebrating him!!! 

“Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, ‘Where is the one who has been born King of the Jews? We saw his star in the east [or: when it rose] and have come to worship him.” (Matthew 2:1b-2)

“After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen in the east [or: seen when it rose] went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they were overjoyed.” (Matthew 2:9-10).
