Sea Turtle Nesting Season has arrived! 🐢🙌⛱️ The first nest has been spotted on Venice Beach. As the nesting season kicks off, here's how you can help protect these amazing creatures. #seaturtleseason

Do:
👍 Keep quiet and observe from a distance if you spot nesting turtles or hatchlings
👍 Shield or turn off outdoor lights visible from the beach
👍 Remove beach furniture and fill in holes to prevent hatchling entrapment.

Don't:
👎 Approach or disturb nesting turtles and hatchlings.
👎 Use flashlights or fishing lamps on the beach.
👎 Encourage turtles to move or interact with them during nesting.
