Today's #TravelTuesday features Sandcastle, the Exuma Cays' only totally solar-powered waterfront castle. Nestled on 3.68 acres of beachfront property, the house is located on Little Bay, a private seaside enclave. Sandcastle is precisely crafted to depict the charm of island living and is made of approximately 2 million pounds of poured concrete. Each room offers a unique perspective of the ocean, with a terrace roof that has panoramic views of the crystal waters, making it ideal for hosting or simply sitting and watching the sunset. Additionally, the neighboring Blackpoint airfield has daily flights from Nassau and offers the use of a 40 × 40 metal plane hangar. Amenities on the property also include a backup generator, a metal storage hangar for vehicles and equipment, and a vegetable farm. A unusual find in the heart of the Exuma Cays.
