Congratulations to @strange_moc for being drafted last night at pick 29 to the @patriots! Strange became the first player in Mocs history to be selected in the first round of the @nfldraft—and the first Southern Conference player drafted in the opening round since 1974.

Cole in a story we featured him in 2020 stated the following about his NFL dream, “Since I’ve been young, (playing in the NFL) has been fixated in my mind. As I got a little older, I realized how rare it is that it does happen. And then, as I’ve gotten closer and closer to it, I don’t think anything’s guaranteed, but if I keep working at it, I might have a shot. If the opportunity does present itself, then it’s something I’m going to try and do. I think that I can do it. I’m confident in myself that I can.”
