A huge mixed use development is planned for the 800 block of 2nd Ave S. It will include a residential tower with 15% of units set as workforce housing. 

The facility will also feature Moffitt Cancer Center, a community parking garage with 300 spaces available, 

The project is expected to generate thousands of construction jobs should not be approved.
