We enjoyed a sneak preview of inbetweendays.co, a Tokyo-style listening bar coming to the grandcentralsp 

The immaculately designed space transforms an old house into the most resplendent escape in St. Pete. The “history of the cassette tape” collage is like a portal to another time. 

It’s one of less than 30 concepts of its kind outside of Japan. 

“We are excited to bring this concept to St Pete,” says Co-founder Elio Marini, a designer, and filmmaker with strong ties to the underground art community in the area. “Listening bars are starting to pop up in major metropolitan areas throughout the globe and we feel that St Pete is the perfect place for such a venue.” 

“Tokyo is the birthplace of listening bars” says co-founder Zach Ashton, who spent more than 15 years living and working abroad as both a recording artist and consultant. “We want people to have a little taste of Tokyo’s culture here in St Pete.” 

The craft sakes that are on the menu are seasonal, and once a bottle is gone, it’s gone until next year. An impressive food menu from Chef Amber includes pork bao buns, cold soba noodles, shiitake and savory cabbage dumplings, and yukke style beef carpaccio.
