Wishing a very happy and deserved Boss’s Day to the founders of #ilovetheburg decksfab and brianpatrickbailey 

These two locals launched this blog more than 10 years ago when the landscape of stpetefl was far different. Over the course of more than a decade they’ve committed themselves to uplifting #stpete in any way they can. 

Whether it’s launching a nostrawsstpete campaign, providing support for nonprofits, spotlighting local businesses all over the ‘Burg, or just being compassionate humans to anyone who needs help, Dex and Brian have an inexhaustible and commendable drive. 

Their tireless work created opportunities for fresh college grads looking to fine tune their skills, explore their creativity and make a difference in the city they call home. They’re mentors, and job creators who provide nothing but support for those who work alongside them. 

I’m so many ways they are innovators in the industry. They grew I Love the ‘Burg from a singular social platform to a full fledged, and award-winning blog that now serves as a resource for all things good in St. Pete. 

I am so proud to have learned from both of them every day since 2014. St. Pete is better for having these two as residents. Brian continues to do extraordinary work with metroinclusivehealth, while Dex works day and night to support businesses, arts hubs, nonprofits and more through I Love the ‘Burg. If there was a hustle award available right now, they’d surely tie for first. 

Show these two some love, because their dishing out the #supportlocal love on a macro scale 24/7. They may be the last to sing their own praises or commend their own accomplishments,  but that’s why I’m here. The work they do matters. It’s essential - and they deserve to be celebrated. Show these two bosses some love on #bossday
