I grew up playing as Rooney on FIFA. I watched compilation videos of his best goals on YouTube. I bought jerseys and watched whatever matches that would air in America. I didn’t think I’d be able to witness one of those career defining moments in person. One of those “oh remember when” goals that doesn’t go away. It was truly an honor to be able to watch the whole squad do what they do, day in and out, and occasionally get a moment of greatness from none other then waynerooney. I knew I got the moment but I didn’t understand the gravity of the situation until everyone that saw me mentioned it. Lucky to have been able and ready to capture a special moment. Lucky to have had my camera break on me a month prior forcing me to get a new one (and a little upgrade). Lucky that things happen for a reason, and you’re right where you’re supposed to be. This is just one story I was able to tell thanks to gbayonas and all of clubeleven, and I know it won’t be the last. Vamos.
