Thirteen programs at Indiana State University’s isuteamtech (College of Technology) that sought accreditation from abetaccredit (ABET) were granted accreditation or reaccreditation for six years. Five of the programs are newly accredited and eight are reaccreditation.

Initial Accreditation: Automation and Control Engineering Technology,
Electronics Engineering Technology, #Engineering, Engineering Technology Management, Information Technology

Reaccreditation: Architectural Engineering Technology, Automotive Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, #Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, #PackagingEngineering Technology, #SafetyManagement 

“This is a wonderful achievement for the College of Technology,” said Interim Dean Jim Smallwood, Ph.D. “This was a real team effort by people within the COT and the broader university. I can’t begin to name everyone that was involved. However, I will say a special thanks to Dean Nesli Alp; department chairs Randy Peters, Xiaolong Li, and Farman Moayed; and COT Faculty Fellow Dr. Alina Waite for their leadership and guidance throughout the nearly two-year ABET process. And of course, very special thanks to all the program faculty who spent countless hours in preparation for the self-studies.” 

“Congratulations to all who were involved and worked so hard to achieve this amazing outcome,” Smallwood said. “We should all be very proud.”
