To celebrate #InternationalWomensDay, we asked Deanna Soost, owner of goodlovencookieshop, what inspired her to start her own business and the advice she would give to aspiring entrepreneurs.⁠

"I started my culinary career by working in several local restaurants. Being exposed to all types of cuisines really opened my eyes to a whole new world of food. When the bellevuemarket started, I decided to join and sell my homemade biscotti. As this adventure took off, customers began asking for more of a variety of desserts. Eventually, cookies took over! In 2014, I opened my first storefront in Bellevue selling cookies. Three short years later, I opened a second location in Ross Township - this location serves cookies and also has breakfast and lunch menus! Through all the years, we have truly been a family business - my daughter, Olivia, has grown up in the kitchen waiting on customers. We strive to bring back a little bit of "good l'oven" and fond memories from your own childhood each time you visit us."⁠
