1. bigrailbrewing - this is my absolute favorite place because visiting feels like being on vacation. Tucked away in the woods, often with fun live music and great food trucks, I always feel refreshed after a visit. My recent favorite beer there is the Smiley Street Peach, but I've also never had a bad IPA.⁠

2. goldenagebeer- I'm a little biased because I live in Homestead, but Golden Age has brought both great beer and great food to the neighborhood! They have a variety of beer but also cocktails, including some from their partner Hidden Harbor, and the absolute best sandwiches! My go-to is the Smash Burger on a gluten free bun, but they also have some great seasonal options right now and the Schnitzel Sandwich is incredible!⁠

3. amelsrestaurant - Amel's has been a South Hills staple for ages and they never fail to deliver great Mediterranean Food in a cozy environment. I love the variety on their menu, and my recent favorite has been the Stuffed Eggplant and Grape Leaves "Magic Carpet Ride".⁠

4. bicycle_heaven - If you have out of town family or friends visiting and they've already seen Randyland, take them to Bicycle Heaven. This bike museum is massive, donation-based, and packed full of local Pittsburgh and bike-related history. I love the fun, immersive art installations throughout, and always notice something new each time I visit.⁠
