"My first job was as an entertainer on the Gateway Clipper Fleet. Seeing the city from the river at all hours gave me a new appreciation for the history and grit that makes Pittsburgh an amazing city!"⁠

Some of Natalie's recent fav places are:⁠
1) totopomtlebo - An authentic Mexican Mexican restaurant used to be so hard to find around here. Totopo is a breath of fresh air! Delicious food, amazing decor, and the best service I've ever had. My go-to is an El Jefe Margarita with Guajillo Gumbo. Also get some taquitos!⁠

2) californiacoffee.pgh - This is such a cute neighborhood spot! Art from local artists adorns every wall, mismatched tea cups and plates make it feel like visiting your grandma, and the staff feels like friends of yours. I love the Denny's Fruit Bowl with the Redbull Smoothie (gotta get that caffeine in!)⁠

3) thefoundrypgh - gorgeous patio seating with a great city view. Amazing cocktails, a seasonal menu always worth checking out, and a prime location before a game. I am addicted to their Grilled Cheese and homemade fries!⁠

4) phippsconservatory - I am sad to say I didn't start visiting until maybe 8 years ago. This is a gem of Pittsburgh. Their collection of rare plants is unmatched. I love that they grow food for the community and no Christmas is complete without a visit to their holiday light extravaganza!⁠

5) thecolombianspot - I'm a sucker for a good empanada. The Colombian Spot has some of the best! Love the music, love the Colombian art. The staff is always on point and the drinks are strong and delicious! My favorite dish is the Hawaiian Arepa, perfect combo of ham and pineapple!⁠
