First I made a decision that all of my efforts were going to go to selling my story to Hollywood. I believed it was a matter of when and not a matter of  if.

I networked, I emailed I showed up to events where my target audience would be. I marketed my book on social media platforms and made bold requests. I kept sharing my story every single chance I got. 

I built connections, got on publications and podcasts to build exposure and hype around my story.
