We talked to Luka Djukic @luka.djukic and his coach Jörn Perlwitz @joernperlwitz about Luka‘s qualification for the CrossFit Games 21

Luka is the youngest athlete who has ever made it to the games so far. 
While we were talking about his development, his goals and their long-term goals we also talked about the main takeaways for ambitioned athletes who are competing and want to reach a higher level.

1. Don‘t rush anything - Performance needs time 
2. Don‘t start alone - You‘ll need a coach to optimize your skills and movements 
3. Build good technics - Your body will be thankful 
4. Don‘t confuse training with fun - Results don‘t come by fancy programming
5. Performance is built of hunger and patience - No top performance has been built over a short time
6. Trust in the development of CrossFit - It‘s still a very young sport
