The Oracle is a wonder that has benefited me in many playthroughs of Civ V. It offers the second earliest Great Scientist point in the game and has proved essential in my quest for Scientific Victories. Plus, the bonus culture points it provides are always a welcome bonus, especially for border growth.

Give the Oracle a shot next time you load up Civ 5. With the Great Library often being highly competed for and usually off the table, the Oracle is a solid backup that will truly benefit your civilization.
