Big Raider shoutout to Class of 2020 riverwoodhscheer alum Alayna Tobo, who was one of four student representatives selected to speak at the University of Kentucky commencement ceremonies last week. 

Alayna is used to paving her own path. After cheering for four years at Riverwood, she helped pioneer the sport of STUNT at UK (kentuckystunt) when they added it as a varsity program in 2021. She is also a member of Riverwood’s graduating class that received their diplomas in Riverwood’s parking lot during the height of COVID (where our beloved Principal Smith stood on a parking lot stage for four straight days, until each of her seniors was able to “drive-through” during a designated time and walk the stage to receive their diploma).
