Diesel’s Skill Builders is an innovative new program from the Houston Dynamo and Houston Dash in partnership with one of the world’s leading grassroots Technical Coaches, Tom Byer. The program is targeted at children ages 2-8 – and their parents. For me, this is such an important initiative because it encourages technical development, a growth mindset, and a love for the ball at an early age. Most importantly, it involves the parents in the process. The Dynamo and Dash have built a library of videos for children and their parents to demonstrate ball mastery exercises online.
